A special bonding time of Kaylee's and her Dad is killing the fire ants. She will see what might be a fire ant bed in the yard. She will then go find her Dad and tell him it is time to go jewg the ants (jewging is her special term for poking the bed with a long stick to test its viability). To put into proper prospective her hatred, and therefore wish to completely annihilate the fire ant species, I must tell you how she treats others insects. We are not allowed to kill, harm, or otherwise annoy any other insect (the only other exception is the wasp!). Any insects found in our home are to be gently moved to the outside or left in place. Our car was recently infested with piss-ants, nests and all (thanks, Granny!). We had to rid the car of the ants in secret. Kaylee thinks they just found a new home.
