No, that is not a typo (though I have quite a few when Paul "helps" me type). This is the last of Kaylee's cute toddler words. Lately, she has made a great effort to correctly pronounce the word - animals. Most of her toddler words are long gone but this one has stuck around. I am proud of her awareness and trying, but also nostalgic over the loss of those cute words. My favorite was granola for magnolia.
