The Green Room

When we first moved to this house in late '08, Kaylee chose the smallest of the bedrooms. I am sure the pink already on the trim influenced this choice, vs the other room which was a boy baby blue. In preparation of the new baby we asked Kaylee if she wanted the larger room. Of course, yes, with the provision that we painted over the blue. Since we have done nothing to the house since moving in, I felt this was doable. So I tell her, your room, you choose the color. Boy, oh boy, did I step into that one! She decides that she likes green, purple, and red, all vivid jewel tones, all three colors on her wall! We comprise with green on the wall with red ladybugs. She also picked the border and wall stickers. The closet doors will be painted purple (not sure how to tie that one in yet). She has surprised me, the room is very pretty and suits her well.
