Country Life

Many times I miss living in town. Grocery store 5 minutes away, library 8 minutes away,various play groups for Kaylee, and sharing work and play with other moms. I am learning that there are many benefits to living in the country. Our neighbors are great, spend less time at the stores, and lots of room to run.


She and the dog frequently run through the neighbors cow field.


Kaylee and I often pack a backpack with snacks and go for a walk. She loves climbing and exploring.


Another neighbor has a young donkey, Nester. If we walk that direction, we have to pack extra carrots and apples for Nester and the horses.




Kaylee is calling Nester. Sometimes he will bray to her calling from down the road, before he even sees her, and come running. The white in the corner of the pic is one of the horses. She is pushing me, wanting her snack!
