Kaylee asked me if God sleeps. I replied that I was not sure, that I do not remember that the bible gave that answer. I only know that we were told he rested. I asked her what she thought the answer might be. She was quiet for a minute and then said that, no God does not sleep. How else would he watch us during the night.
Also, for fun:
On a hike we came across a tall plant with seeds similar to a dandelion. Kaylee describes it, "Snow for the mice."
When we see insects in nature that are mating and she asks, I tell her that they are mating, making babies. We came across two butterflies one day, dancing around together. Kaylee says, "Look at those butterflies marrying."
There is more, but I forget. I really should record this stuff so that I will remember when she is grown.
I love the way children think!
